Time Days of the Week and Months of the Year for Class 1 Maths

The students will be introduced to the names of 7 days in a week and month name. Also, the number and terms of seasons that occur in a year are discussed here.

Each day starts at Midnight (12 O'clock at Night) and ends next Midnight. You have observed that each day has a name. There are 7 different days.

7 Days of the Week

There are 7 days of the week.

In the calendar, from today’s date, we can find out today’s day. Also, we can know about yesterday and tomorrow.

But what is Today, Yesterday and Tomorrow?

Present-day is Today. The day before today is called Yesterday and the day after today is called Tomorrow.

Month Name

There is a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 5 weeks in a one month.

But how many Months are there in a one year?

There are total 12 months.

So, 12 months together make 1 year.

There are total 365 or 366 days in one year.
