Lunar Month Meaning:

The new moon is the first lunar phase in astronomy when the moon and sun have the exact ecliptic longitude. At this phase, the lunar disk is not visible to the unaided eye, but its presence may be detected as stars are behind it. The full moon falls on the lunar month’s 14th or 15th day.
