1) In an Election, Three Candidates, 1, Candidate 2, and Candidate 3, Received 3450 Votes, 4580 Votes, and 1230 Votes, respectively. Calculate the Total Votes. And Draw a Chapati- Chart to Represent the Data.

Observe the Chapati-Chart and Tell What Percent of Votes the Candidate 2 Has Received?

Step 1:

Number of votes received by candidate 1 = 3400
Number of votes received by candidate 2 = 4630
Number of votes received by candidate 3 = 1230
Total votes = 3400 + 4630 + 1230
        = 9260

Therefore, the total number of votes received is 9260.

Step 2:

The chapati chart is shown below:

It is observed from the chapati chart that candidate 2 has received 50% votes.
