About Rainy Seasons

The climate varied in west Bengal, and we experienced mainly three seasons around the year: winter, summer, and monsoon.

We also call the rainy season in the name monsoon.

When Is the Rainy Season?

The rainy season comes after the summer, starting in June and extending up to September.

During the rainy season, ponds, rivers and lakes receive plenty of water. During the monsoon seasons, most of the yearly rainfall occurs.

In different cities of West Bengal effect of rain is different; also, it depends on the different temperatures in other places.
