Progressing onto this stage Science has expanded its horizon to become one of the core subjects for the students. The topics explore the various aspects of science in-depth to familiarize students with the three branches of science this year forth. The units put a limelight on the precursors of the next academic year’s curriculum. Syllabus The curriculum for the academic year 2024-2025 as per the NCERT guidelines is divided into 2 terms, 3 units each. Each Unit has a certain amount of chapters according to the relatability of the topics.

Chapter -14 - Natural Resources Physical resources: Air, Water, Soil. Air for respiration, for combustion, for moderating temperatures; movements of air and its role in bringing rains across India.Air, water and soil pollution (brief introduction).Holes in the ozone layer and the probable damages. Bio-geo chemical cycles in nature: Water, Oxygen, Carbon and Nitrogen.
Practicals should be conducted alongside the concepts taught in theory classes.
