MPSC full form in English stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission, a constitutional body under Article 315 of the Indian Constitution, established to conduct the civil service examinations in Maharashtra. 4. Maharashtra Judicial Services Examination

This is the examination by which all the Civil judges and Judicial Magistrates have to be appointed throughout the State of Maharashtra. This is the most keenly contested examination conducted by the MPSC.

5. Maharashtra Forest Services Examination

This is to appoint candidates for the Forest Officers and Forest Rangers post responsible for the management of forest resources and safeguard woods of Maharashtra.

6. Maharashtra Subordinate Services Exam

Following services along with the previously mentioned post through the examination-Assistant Section Officer, Police SubInspector, and Sales Tax Inspector to the State Government.

7. Maharashtra Group C Services Exam

Group C Services Examination: This exam is carried out for filling up the clerical and assistant posts to different departments in the service of the government of Maharashtra. The most salient posts include the Tax Assistant and Clerk-Typist.

8. Maharashtra Group D Services Examination

An examination conducted toward selection to the cadre of Group D from amongst the State Government employees to posts such as Peon and Driver.
