Day 2: Green
Goddess Brahmacharini is worshiped on the 2nd day of Navratri, and the color of the day is Green. It is the hue in which everything starts as a representation of growth and harmony. Similar to how plants and trees are green to depict the growth of life, wearing green on the second day of Navratri is symbolic of how spiritual energy blossoms and flourishes from within. Day 3: Grey
This day, the third day, is grey in color and also dedicated to Goddess Chandraghanta. It could be very boring in color, but it stands for something so strong and full of determination, with a capacity of being rooted. Wearing grey on the third of Navratri days gives us a will to make ourselves powerful and determined to stand in life, no matter how many battles we might fight.
Day 4: Orange
This is associated with the color of the Fourth Navratri Day that people associate with Goddess Kushmanda. The predominance of the warm colors in the orange fruit, by itself, can be said to implicate warmth. This color is very energetic, so it means that today comes with the warm, enthusiastic, and creative blessings of Goddess Kushmanda. This is the goddess who created this whole universe, so with wearing of this color, we get into the mode of connecting with her creative energies. It is felt, in rapid time, inspired by the warmth in the blessings of the goddess.
Day 5: White
The fifth day of Navratri is said to be symbolic of Goddess Skandamata, and on this day, a white color dress code is followed. White is symbolic of purity, peace, and simplicity. Goddess Skandamata is considered to be an epitome of a very caring and nurturing lot, much like that of the mother for her children. White on this day assists in taking us into the pure and peaceful energy of the goddess, hence bringing calm and serenity into life.
Day 6 : Red
The sixth day's color is red and is dedicated to Goddess Katyayani. The strong color she would wear to stand for, in this case, could be red, representing love and passion, courage, and other such good attributes. Goddess Katyayani epitomizes courage as a furious warrior Goddess, and wearing red would evoke stiffness for strength and command to stand against the odds. Day 7: Royal Blue
On the seventh day one should worship Goddess Kalaratri. The color of the day is royal blue. Royal blue stands for depth, wisdom, vastness of the universe. Day 8: Pink
This is a pink-colored Mahagauri day during Navratri, ideally falling on the eighth day. Pink represents the color of love and compassion. The motherly feelings have an ocean of this pure love: Mahagauri is very easily satisfied and showers compassion. Wearing pink on this particular day links one with this loving emanation of hers. Day 9: Purple
The ninth day and final day of Navratri is dedicated to the goddess Siddhidatri's worshippers. The color that shall be worn on this last day shall be purple. The purple color is one of spirituality, power, and ambition. It is related to divine powers and wisdom sent by the goddess to whom the followers look for liberation. The nine forms of Maa Durga are collectively known as Navdurgas.
