• At Orchids, we inspire curiosity by introducing students to the field of space science through exciting discoveries, and age-appropriate Astronomy sessions!
• Children learn about stars, planets, the moon, and constellations using sky observational activities, planetarium visits, and fun experiments.
• In the sessions, students think critically and creatively, and develop a solid understanding of scientific concepts.
• Students begin to understand Earth's role in relation to the universe, and develop an awe of the universe, as well as a sense of stewardship of our planet.
• Astronomy uses real world science which allows trained facilitators to guide students while practicing creativity and "thinking outside the box" in meaningful learning experiences that inspire young minds!
